WEST PALM BEACH, FL, November 27, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — Signarama, the world’s largest sign franchise, is honored to have franchisees that are deeply invested and committed to their communities and to each other. At the recent Brand-New View Expo in Cancun, Mexico, franchisees David and Jamie Smith and Don and Diane Greiner were inducted into the franchise’s Hall of Fame. This designation is special because, to be credited, the franchisee must be accepted by the other members of the Hall of Fame. This award caps off the evening event and provides inspiration and drive to succeed in the coming year.
The Smiths, Signarama Anderson (South Carolina) owners and the Greiner’s, Signarama Anaheim now previous owners, were both well known within the franchise network. The owners of both locations were a part of the franchise mentor program. The mentor program consists of owners who meet specific criteria that support and guide new franchise owners based on their experiences and knowledge of the industry.
“My background is engineering and sales, while Jamie’s is engineering and manufacturing. We had no previous graphics or sign industry experience, but other Signarama franchisees helped us, and now, we in turn are helping others. We opened in 2011, after purchasing an existing Signarama that served the community for 15 years, so we had to make sure that we met the expectations that the customer base was accustomed to,” said David Smith.
Over the last seven years, the Signarama Anderson owners achieved a great amount of success. The Smiths have been awarded the Gold Achievement Award three times, they are also two-time winners of Top Store Appearance, and have even been granted the Winner’s Circle Award.
Don and Diane Greiner were former owners of an air-conditioning company prior to becoming Signarama owners. “When we began, we relied on the advice of other franchisees on how to build the business and overcome challenges,” said Don. “Now that we’ve grown in the business, we’re passing our knowledge on to the next generation of new franchise owners.” Insights that Don and Diane provide to others are done voluntarily. “Signarama is really a family that is always willing to help each other out, and that’s the beauty of the Signarama network of franchises,” said Diane. The Greiner’s have been a part of the mentor program since 2002 and have recently sold their business. During their time, they were presented with awards for Salesperson of the Year and Team Player of the Year.
Signarama is part of a division of affiliated companies and brands under United Franchise Group, headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL. The Signarama training school provides a comprehensive training process that includes educational classes, store set-up support, and ongoing support from other franchisees as well as corporate staff. New franchisees have access to resources like the mentor program to line up their business onto the path of success.
