You likely have a stash of old pictures somewhere in your home. They may be from family members that have come and gone or maybe from your college years or a significant event like a wedding or baptism. Regardless of the event, that picture that was taken brings forth a reaction that you didn’t have before. We are visual beings, and as the saying goes, seeing something is most of the time believing. Believing in what you are selling, believe in the passion you have for your business and believe in what the reality is of what you are selling.
Do you take pictures of . . .
- finished projects?
- happy customers?
- before and after pictures?
- yourself with customers, your products, and at your locations?
Are the pictures of good quality (i.e., high definition, not blurry or off-center, etc.)? Pictures online, on social media, and in print media are almost as important as your logo and branding as it backs up what you are communicating.
Do an audit of your pictures. Take down any blurry pictures or ones that aren’t relevant.
Do you look the same as the pictures of you? People want to relate with the person in the picture.
Look at your lobby, do you have pictures with old logos or old looking buildings? Replace them with new, updated photos.
Remember, a business that advertises bad quality attracts bad quality customers. A business that advertises new and fresh ideas with high definition pictures will attract the new wave of business owners and have a customer base for years to come!
